Yes, another off topic.

I've spent about three evenings playing with DVD rippers and video editors. What a rough hobby. So I wanted to share what I got, if your interested.

I have uploaded my intructors (Jasons) last fight in MPG format. It should take about 7 minutes on a cable modem. You would be rooting for the guy in WHITE shorts. Sorry about the loud mouth guy in the corner right next to the camera man.

Promotors are often cheap scum and won't pay for any kind of professional video.

Yet, your not aloud to record it from the audience.

Out of 30 of fights or so of jay we have like, 5 tapes. Heh.

Some day though LOL still a cool vid.

Yeah, it was a cool vid. From what I saw of it looked like your boy was really hurting him with those knees and getting the best of him when they were punching. I am guessing though that he did not win the fight I love it when that loudmouth was yelling Mount Him, Mount Him - lol.

Yes, Jays takedown defense needs some work. Never was much of a wrestler. Heh heh. That promotor only paid em like 250 too.... hes used to 500-1000 for an MMA win.

i did some kickboxing in my early years .
when we where up for a fight our instructor/teacher (world champion 3 timesin 2 weight classes) told us that doing the thing where you would hit the gloves with your 2 hands at the start of the fight was not in the rules and infact doing a backslab 189 degrees was totally legit
i won a fight on point this way a couple a times ..

the public thought it was rather cheesy and yes it is semi dirty but it's a fight

in kickboxing there is no rule against this tho .. might wanna check it out .. might give ya the upperhand in a fight if it is allowed also ..
