RP Template

Progress:

Notes:
I'm finally getting around to working on this. For those who don't know, it's a template with all the code (new and more efficient code, that is) so that any mapmaker can make a map like SotDRP or RARP.
The commands will be similar but not the same. Instead of using "Spawn XX <unittype>", instead (much like the doodad command) you set a unit to be created by using "unit <unittype>" and use the Create Unit ability on your spawner. Furthermore, for the sake of consistency, commands will all be preceded by "!". For example, you will type "!unit <unittype>" or "!ability <abilitytype>" or "!stat <attribute> <modification>".

My one question is this. If it's a template what will this include in detail?

hm... sounds intriguing. You are going to make a teamplate, so that new map editors, can rather easaly create RPG's. Hm... this will be good. Make sure you add atleast 5 different teamplate missions and a PvP arena to the teamplate.

Nono, this isn't for RPGs like ORPG maps. This is for roleplaying maps.

The purpose of this isn't to be original, it's to make things easier for people.

I will add more commands though, if that's what you're asking. Not quite sure about what they will be at the moment seeing as I just started working on this.

Great idea for thoose stuck on some of the basic, yet not that easily done triggers.

What I think Windex meant is open source is when the source of the software is not in any way hidden. A map isn't open source, it's just unprotected and since that's the way the regular wc3 saves map, it isn't something really special, additionally it wouldn't be much of a template if people cannot alter it.

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
