I am always baffled at how realistic Blizzard's cinematics look and feel!

Great cinematic.

This one even looks better than the previous ones! They are improving, I hope the game will too.

I think they are finally stopping their destruction of the warcraft lore. I think WotLK will be a major change to the many lore fans like myself.

Avoid, if at all possible.

Yeah, looks like it. But there is more people caring about leet legendary loot than a good lore.

great cinematic, and very lore orientated, it brought me back to WC3 a bit.

hopefully the game does just as great a job.

too bad we can't see our favorite characters/class fighting like in the other two though :(

wanted to see a troll this time around :D

At first I was a bit dissapointed there was no action, but after thinking about it, this cinematic feels like the first, REAL, cinematic. It's not just class/race fighting each other. This one was far more story orientated, and had a much greater "warcraft" feel to it.

I liked it :).

Over the standard? Compared to the WAR one? Even by taking realistic factors into decision, the WAR one is way more realistic. The Blizzard one was very simple, does not require as much time, skill, or dedication to make though, not bad but still, it is not as good as you all think it is.

Hey, man, can I let you in on a little secret? This is the WoW Discussion forum. WoW commonly refers to World of Warcraft. Warhammer isn't World of Warcraft. People don't look at these forums to see trailers, gameplay videos, or whatever you can dream up about Warhammer. So keep your little opinions concerning this video to yourself, unless you are going to make a direct critique and not a comparison to Warhammer. KKTHXBYE

Dude, all anyone gets from you is negative comments based on your opinion.

That doesn't make much sense. How can you judge what is more realistic. I'm pretty sure that the warcraft cinematic took far longer to make then the warhammer one. All they had to do in warhammer was show off a bunch of units and what they could do. The warcraft cinematic required much more than that. Nothing in the warhammer cinematic even came close (graphically-wise) to that frost wyrm emerging from the ice. Also, the wc cinematic was in a much higher quality overall.

Hi w/e I don't want to argue with you but I have to this time, the warcraft cinematic took less time to make. There is less graphical animation, textures needed, etc. There is also less enviroment features. Notice in the WoW cinimatic the snow/tundra part looked really cartoonish. Note: I know WoW is aiming towards that look but you get my point.

Now take a look at the WAR cinimatic, it's much more massive, it feels as if you were actually there at the battle. Looking down from the walls, seeing the horde of chaos enemies. And of course this took more time, there are people fighting all over the place, lots more action.

By the way, I judge how realistic things are by looking at their textures, animations, enviroment.

Well, it does look realistic in the environment. I don't think a glacier would have plants and trees .. etc

Then why do you think the WAR one is more realistic? The WoW one has far better texture work, better animations, and the environment looks amazing.

The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
