Crime Paris attacks: Identifications and arrests start piling up

PARIS - Two days after the deadly coordinated terrorist attacks on Paris left at least 132 people dead and 352 injured, officials have begun to put together a picture of those responsible, and launched an aggressive manhunt for a suspect with direct links to the attack still at large. Arrests being made across Europe related to the attacks as well as the identity of those responsible are slowly being made public.

France has been in an official state of mourning since the attacks, with the Eiffel Tower going dark and President Francois Hollande vowing that France would wage "merciless" war on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), which claimed responsibility for the mayhem, as investigators raced to track down their accomplices and uncovered possible links to networks in Belgium, Germany and Syria.

Paris attacks: Bataclan and other assaults leave many dead

France has declared a national state of emergency and tightened borders after at least 128 people were killed in a night of gun and bomb attacks in Paris.

Eighty people were reported killed after gunmen burst into the Bataclan concert hall and took hostages before security forces stormed the hall.

People were shot dead at restaurants and bars at five other sites in Paris. At least 180 people were injured.

These are the deadliest attacks in Europe since the2004 Madrid bombings.

French President Francois Hollande, visibly shaken, called Friday night's almost simultaneous attacks "a horror" and vowed to wage a "merciless" fight against terrorism.

Just a theory:

Attacks on France have occurred to scare not only France but all of Europe into closing its borders, forcing more Syrians to stay put. ISIS wants this as they can utilize these people, rule over them & get more converts that way.

That is so predictable. Yesterday on campus I already saw like, at least, 3 grafitti saying the same thing. Boring. Think new and creative. What innovative kind of convoluted mess could be going on behind the scenes? Maybe it was government hitman sent out to kill mafia leaders but masked as terrorism? Two birds with one stone baby!

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. To clarify, I was asking what were the plans after ISIS ceased to exist. Life isn't an action movie where you bomb the villain's head quarters and ride into the sunset
