Hi, I'm new to JQuery.. Any way to parse a specific URL, view its source, and convert it into text???

One example is if I want to parse html code of google.com..

The best way I can think would be to use a server-side language to get the contents (for example, file_get_contents()), and use an AJAX request to retrieve the contents.

After that, this is the best thing I've found so far.

Edit: Just so you know, if you can get the data in JSON (or XML, though JSON is better), JavaScript should be able to parse them both natively. If not, there are plenty of libraries (jQuery included, if I'm not mistaken) that can do so.
