PLEASE HELP

Similar to the UI problem under Display issues described here:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=18971780462&sid=1

World of Warcraft becomes unplayable due to the graphical errors of the UI when playing the game. Me and a friend are having the same issue on two separate computers, so i know it is not just my computer having issues.

So far I have done everything up to reinstalling WoW completely and it is still not working. I am pretty sure it has to do with me updating my 2007 Intel 965 Express Chipset Family Video Drivers as mentioned in the forum link above.

I followed these instructions from the forum post above...
1. UI and display problems with Intel GMA 965

People using the Intel GMA 965 video card on Windows Vista may see UI corruption, missing buttons and swirls on their screen. To fix this issue, you will need to make sure that you are using a 2009 video driver. To check which driver you're using, click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Run -> dxdiag. Click on the Display tab and check the driver dates on the right box. If you're using a 2008 or 2007 driver, please update them using this link:

32-bit Windows Vista - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...ductID=2576&DwnldID=17297&strOSs=164&lang=eng
64-bit Windows Vista - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...ductID=2576&DwnldID=17300&strOSs=150&lang=eng

To find out if you're on a 32-bit or 64-bi system, click on the Start menu, right-click on Computer and go to Properties. It'll tell you what type you have under System.

Save these drivers to your desktop and extract them. Once the extraction is complete, please follow the Intel Manual Installation Instructions located at http://downloadmirror.intel.com/17297/eng/installation_readme_winvista.txt

It was unsuccessful as it gave the following error as I ran the setup.

So at this point what I really want to do is try and "update" my video drivers as the Blizzard Tech Forum says, but with that error, I hit a wall and I am unsure as of what to do next.

Anyone who knows anything about this or knows what I can do next please help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and +rep will be given for sure. Also, if you have any questions please ask them and I would be happy to try my best to answer them.

Thanks in advance, 1)ark_Knight.

ya... so I actually have the most updated video driver right now that I can get.

it went as far as calling the Toshiba tech support to check for a update for the video driver.

They have not come out with the update yet... so 3.2 made my computer unable to play World of Warcraft until Toshiba, a completely unrelated company, comes out with their next update for a video driver.

So now I'm left with two options... quit WoW, keep paying 15 dollars a month for something that doesn't work. Who knows..

I guess if anyone actually knows what would help me, post, but otherwise I'm sure i'm just screwed.

Here's something you can try.

1. Download the drivers (I assumed you did).
2. In the zipped file, extract the Graphics folder.
3. Manually update the drivers with "igdlh32.inf" (or 64.inf)

I won't guarantee anything though.
