Patch v1.1 to 1.3 Problem

I have a retail version of Battlefield 1942 v1.1 I downloaded the v1.3 patch which also includes the v1.2 fixes. When I try to upgrade the game I get a message "Setup Could Not Find a Battlefield 1942 Installation" I copied the patch into the Battlefield 1942 folder and ran it with the same results. The only thing I can think of that is a problem is, I am using a No-CD. patch. I also have this problem . I gave my original CD to a friend who moved out of state. Does anyone know where I can get the original Bf1942.exe file or other fix for my problem? (PS) Of course I didn't save the original file, why would I ever need it again :) TIA

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
