pet ideas

I have decided to insert a pet system into my map and am looking for ideas on what pets to make. Each pet will have four stages but those stages are based on how you feed it. The pets will learn one ability per stage. With the ability being related to which stage the pet evolves to.
Ideas with abilities isn't required cuz I can come up with abilities if you just give a pet idea. And ability ideas for pets given are acceptable as well. Proper credit in game will be given.

2. Cat
3. Weasel
4. Squirrel
5. Rabbit
And that's only some of it xD

Hmmm, how about

a Whisp-like looking pet with supportive Abilities (heals,buffs and such.)

a Wolf-like looking pet with aggressive Abilities .

a Dragon-like looking pet with No abilities in the first 3 Stages, but in the 4th Gets an Imba One? (wether he gets DPS or Supportive you decide)


Just sayin' Hope you like it :thup:

Ps. If you really want me, ill figure some Ability ideas for the mentioned Pets above.

There are wolf's, so the wolf-like isn't needed.

Uh uh! A Raccoon. Lovely animal and you already have an ingame model.

-Imp
-A small robot
-Treant
-A bag (could have some wicked abilities) (Blink, Black Hole, Time Stop etc. etc.) Or an inventory with special items.

If you want flying you could go with

-An Orb (You could have all the four elements or something)
-Owl
-A Drone

If you don't want them to fly but still want to use them just set them to be targeted as ground, and lower their hight.

1st stage: small Dog - bite
2nd stage:
a)wolf - small boost to attack speed
b)normal dog - small boost to damage
c)?
3rd stage:
aa)black wolf - Quick attack
ab)brown wolf - Howl(stuns)
ac)white wolf - dust storm(confuse)
ba)?
bb)two headed dog - larger boost to damage but it can now target two enemies with each attack
bc)?
ca)?
cb)?
cc)?
4th stage:
aaa)Shadow wolf
aab)large black wolf
aac)silver wolf
aba)Green wolf - increase evade
abb)large brown wolf
abc)Gold Wolf - taunt
aca)Red Wolf
acb)Gray Wolf -
acc)large white wolf - ice storm

bbb)large two headed dog

this is why i will probably only make three pets right now. one of each basic attribute.

Not to encourage my bag idea anymore, but isn't three "dog" pets a bit none imaginative? I mean, go with one dog pet and do a cat and a canary or something. Instead of just a dog and two wolves.

Edit: Skip that. Im drunk, and didn't read it thoroughly enough. I can see that your dog pet can evolve to several types of wolves. That seem like a nice idea. Thumps up.

What HE is doing is you get a pet, when it levels you get to pick out of 2 stages you want, then it levels again and you getta pick 2 then you getta pick out of 2 again and it goes on till how much he feels like...

its actual 3 different forms per stage and 3 stages of leveling up. you start with the first stage. then depending on what you feed it, when it evolves it will evolve into one of the three.

What about a slime pet that in each level you may choose something like this:

Slime :3

a) slime makes a copy of himself(every thing equal and maybe if one die all them die)
b) all slimes gain an slowing poison
c) all slimes gain a corrosive poison

aa) a new copy
ab) they get b bonus
ac) they gain c bonus

ba) a new copy
bb) a most powerfull slowing spell
bc) a mix of damage and slow venon

ca) a new copy
cb) add slow
cc) more damage income in the poisom

etc
etc
etc
