Can someone explain to me the phoenix fire based abilities? Why does everyone make things off of phoenix fire? what does it enable you to do?

Phoenix fire enables you to have 2 attacks or more, like in battleships

Phoenix fire allows you to have an attack that does not require targeting. Just add the ability to a unit and when an enemy gets within range it fires automatically.

it allows you to make item attack itself, which is pretty nice, or just to have a hero have more than one attack.
