php fusion mysql problem

for a forum software i used a database name "test" and the only thing i could make was a "blacktal_mysqlname" and the software wouldnt work with names with underscores. So anyone know how I can make the software work with underscore, its phpfusion

well i mean blacktal_ and then the name after there, but it always had the blacktal_ prefix, and its the DB name, its shared with THs server.

nope, only lets my db names be with that prefix, and i was using the DB named "test" before since that was the only one i could get working but it got erased. If you have any luck with making it in CP tell me.

like this, lets say i make a DB named "forums" it would atomatcially change it to this blacktal_forums

In summary, the database was lost.

PHP Fusion doesn't create a 'database' file that you can reupload with Cpanel.

It creates an SQL file - a text file that is a string of commands you can feed to phpMyAdmin.

When you re-run the setup of PHP Fusion, it wipes the tables.

Database repaired by creating a new. Then running the SQL file through phpMyAdmin.

Instead of running setup again, the new settings were manually edited in 'config.php'.

Lessons learned.
