Please Help With Trigger

Gamble
Right now im trying to make a trigger called Gamble. You pay money and it gives you a random item. I have been trying to make it work but nothing seems to work.

Devour
I also need help with Devour. I am trying to make it into a hero ability, but every time i get it started it crashes. I did nothing different to the ability except for adding it to 5 Levels and made it into a hero ability.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

devour: you probably forgot to give the hero the cargo hold ability too. If you don't, it will crash the game.

I hear there are lots of problems with customising devour, so be wary of that.

gamble: are you using triggers?

you could store all the items into an item array, and then create a random item from the array.
