Ok here's my problem. I'm trying to run Diablo II - LOD on battle.net. I log on to the internet (using AT&T Worldnet - 56k). I start up Diablo II - LOD. I click on Battle.net. I get an error message saying i'm "not connected to the internet" or something. I check back through my dial up networking and lo and behold - my connection has stopped. Totally frozen. Can't access web documents, can't do anything online until I restart my computer and try again. I have emailed Blizzard but to no avail, none of their techniques work, I've tried updating, changing realms, reinstalling, even tweaking with modem settings. Nothing's worked so far. I'd appreciate any help, here are my system specs:
AMD Athlon Thunderbird 800Mhz
Shuttle AI61 Motherboard
Sound Blaster PCI128 (I also swap a Digidesign mix core sometimes so that I can do my work on this PC but neither it or the drivers are installed right now)
Nvidia GeForce 2 MX400
30 GB Western Digital 7200 RPM HD
384 Megs of ram
Motorola SM56 PCI Data/Voice/Fax Modem
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
