Problem Reducing Default Mana...

Hi,
Okay i'm having a problem trying to make one of units mana down.
What I have done:

Stats - Mana Intial Amount - 1
Stats - Mana Maximum - 1

Yet even though I have done that the units starting Mana is 360!?!
I want the units mana to be 75.

Any ideas?

Also for the conditions, tried like: Unit Comparison Equal to Marine, but that didn't work either.

NOTE: I made this a trigger casue I couldn't think of any other ways to lower it. So if you know how to do it without triggers please post it.

Are the units heroes? If so you need to set the inteligence to 0 etc

you could set the mana bonus per point of intelligence to 0 in gameplay constants (I think)

or you could set it to something you could easily calculate, like 1, so if you had a hero with 20 intelligence, and you wanted him to have 75 mana, then you'd give him 55 initial mana.

u have a set mana for triggering unit, but there is no triggering unit, so it didnt work. try picking all units in playable map area and the an if\then\multiple actions. the conditon is that the picked unit is whatever u want it to be, and the actions are set mana maximum to 75, else do nothing. see if that helps.

If that is your whole trigger and only trigger, then you have a misundertanding here. your condition is elapsed time and your command is triggerng unit... so basically your saying after one second game time all triggering units do ___. There is no unit triggering the command so it doesn't do the then part of the command.

try this:

Marine Mana
Events
Time - Elapsed game time is 1.00 seconds
Conditions
Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units in (Marineregen<gen>)) and do (Actions)
Loop - Actions
Unit - Set mana of (Picked unit) to 75.00

--or--

Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units of type marine) and do (Actions)
Loop - Actions
Unit - Set mana of (Picked unit) to 75.00

of course this only sets the mana they have currently, not the maximum they can have.

for that i seggest the following:

-if your unit is a hero put intelegence and other stats down to zero or change the game constants so that the stats dont add to mana pool of your unit.
-go into the object editor and find where it says mana max and min, put them to 0 and 75 and initial amount to whatever you want... my guess is that you tried this but your unit is a hero and the intelegence screwed it up
