Problem With a Trigger

Trigger:
  • Spawn Barrack
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Finishes construction
    • Conditions
      • (Owner of (Constructing structure)) Equal to Player 1 (Red)
      • (Unit-type of (Constructed structure)) Equal to Barracks
    • Actions
      • Trigger - Turn on Turn On P1 <gen>
      • Trigger - Turn on Turn Off P1 <gen>
      • Trigger - Turn off (This trigger)


Trigger:
  • Spawn grunt - Initially Off
    • Events
      • Time - Every 1.00 seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Unit Group - Order (Units owned by Player 1 (Red)) to train a Grunt


Trigger:
  • Turn On P1 - Initially Off
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • ((Casting unit) is in (Units owned by Player 1 (Red))) Equal to True
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Turn On
    • Actions
      • Trigger - Turn on Spawn grunt <gen>


Trigger:
  • Turn Off P1 - Initially Off
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • ((Casting unit) is in (Units owned by Player 1 (Red))) Equal to True
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Turn Off
    • Actions
      • Trigger - Turn off Spawn grunt <gen>

This doesnt seem to work:confused:. Answer in GUI. The Ability im using is modified windwalk. Heres the pic

There should be same event response, I hope.
I think the upper line should be
Owner of Constructed structure Equal ...

Edit: Now its Really weird. when i press the "Turn on" Ability Which triggers the "Turn on P1" first nothing happens and when i press the ability again the Barracks moves and then starts spawning. oh and the Turn Off Trigger doesnt seem to work. Ill try to trigger it with something else than the abilities (different Event on the "Turn on p1" And "turn off p1") will Edit results here. Ok so i did the triggers like this and now it works but would rather have it as abilities.

what is all your trigger about, can't get it.

well if your want to know whether your trigger is working or not, use action game display message to help you. If display, it is working, if not, it is not.

The trigger is like.. you build a barracks the barracks has 2 abilities called "turn off" and "Turn on" and when you press the "Turn on" It starts Training 1 Grunt every 1 second and when u press the "turn off" It should stop training these grunts.

oh, do you use different ability for turn on and off? you must, if you use same 2 ability, it will not working properly. You can try to use ability like berserk(remove the unused data) or roar(remove unuse data) or if you are knowledge, use immolation or manashield.

I use Channel for (almost) everything. You can change ID of ability easily.

Helped me i had both of the abilities copied of windwalk so when i used the ability the trigger, triggered both of the "turn on" and "turn off" at the same time. So solution was = make one of Roar and another one of Stomp. +rep to Canons .. Tyy:thup:
