Wierd, I have used the optimizer for over 50 different games and i have not seen any problem that changing settings would not fix.
Lately however, i have noticed that protecting is worth very little against people that really wants to edit the map. There are methods against the optimizers encryption.
A easy way to avoid the "I edit for fun!" players would be to use the widgetizer. And you could do like many other games. Make a website that the original game tells people to ALWAYS download the latest version from. This would help against most cases of people adding tiny cheats and changing the version. However not against people stealing the map and making a new game of it.
If you insist on using the optimizer i recommend googling your problem using many different keywords. If you don't get a solution from anyone you could mail the problem to [email protected] with the original map script as it is stated in the optimizer Readme.

There are methods against every encryption. I could easily edit any map out there. Protected or not.
I don't though.
What exactly happens which makes your map "unable to be hosted"?
If you go to the Word Editor Help section , a few posts down from this one is another guy that also could not host. If you have the same problem you could perhaps ask him what he did.
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
