Problem with server splitting

How do server splits occur? Because in my map, when a unit gets attacked by a certain unit, it splits. I'll attach a replay in which the spaceman gets to turbine in the lower left, then the server splits. Spaceman is purp btw. Any help, even if you can't figure out why, I'm still curious why they occur.

even the most expert mapmakers wouldn't be able to 100% answer this one, not even Blizzard could do it I imagine.

Blizzard did not in any way imagine they would end up making the World Editor this complex, so naturally they did not account for all issues arising from all the awesome features they added into it.

thanks, the problem was when a unit attacked, so I changed the terrain. XXconanXXX's thread about whether his terrain was good enough made me realize mine isn't, so I've been redoing it, adding more doodads and what-not. Anyway I made the area where the unit was into something totally different. Though it may very well not be the terrain, it never reall happened until the terrain was like that. Anyway, thanks.

If thats all you did, select the terrain areas and copy them into the last working version.
