Problem with Triggers

When i click the UNIT button on a spell trigger it displays a menu that says "UNIT: Preset (pulldown menu that reads: No Unit) and VARIABLE "Select a Unit". I press the Select a Unit and it brings me the Unit Template in WE. I've tried clicking the unit i want but nothing happens, anyone know anything abou this problem?

You have to select a unit on the map for that. You cant choose it out of the template.

I think your looking for Unit of Type.
