Every time I try to connect to battle.net it gives me an error that says "Battle.net was unable to properly determine your application version, please reinstall the application from the CD and reconnect to battle.net"
And no matter how many times I reinstall, or unistall then do a new install it gives me the same error.
I've tried downloading the newest patch from the battle.net website but it won't even patch. It gives me an odd error:
Blizzard PrePatch v2.1 compiled on Sep 27 1999
This program patches Starcraft Broodwar
Log created at 10:49 am on 01/28/2002
ERROR: unable to open patch archive 'C:\PROGRAM FILES\STARCRAFT\BW_108B.EXE'
STORM_ERROR_NOT_ARCHIVE
RESULT: Prepatch failed
And I don't know where my b.net log is so I can't post that.
Any help would be much appreciated, I've not been able to logon in almost a month.
