I have pulled out the Gold and Lumber and Agility and Intelligence Icons, checked their Image Size and made my own, converted them to BLP and put them into the game under Advanced - Game Interface BUT when I load the game they Appear as bright green boxes instead! What am I doing wrong??

Did you put the BLP's custom path to exactly where ya found em? Or you just pointing to them in game constants?

I am thinking your format is wrong, when you save the icons.

Did you try different formats, like 24 bit, 32 bit, and flatten your image? What did you do with the alpha channels?

You know there are some bullet icons in the game you might be able to use.

Darg is good at getting icons to work, I have not had much sucess. I don't think my photodelux can do it.

It is 32 Bit, I opened an "Opaque Alpha Channel" or whatever that is I clicked "Yes" to. The extension I used is EXACTLY where it is, and I know it's all right because it appears in the little Preview to the left. So yeah, if DARG could help me out, i'm all for it. The most mind boggling thing is that it appears in the preview window where the little picture of Gold and Wood would be previewed but not in the game. So Editor recognizes my image, but it doesn't put it in the game!

Approach different angle if thats not working?

Leave the constants alone.

Let us not use the word icon.

Pull out the skins. Make new skins. Save as .blp

Bring your skins into your map using the import manager.

Change the "Custom Path" to EXACTLY where you got the skins. I beleive I listed the paths in an earlier post.

I don't know how to attach more than one so i'll just post one, it's nothing special just a file modified to be the exact right size in photoshop, converted to .tga then converted to .blp to import into the game.

Here's the kicker in the Editor, when you put in the custom path it even appears as the little square icon to the left!

You know Juggy, until Darg has time....

Theres a bullet icon already in WC3, its a fatty/bullet missle. AND, theres a machine gun icon, you could use for clips.

Try those yet? There not bad.

Out of curiousity, did you make those icons yourself or did you get them from somewhere?

k go to the staredit forum, command icons are there. You want some other SC stuff just ask.

I'm confused, that didn't help me at all, I have my icons, and they're in the game, but they appear green, how is going to a StarEdit forum going to help my icons appear in WORLDEDIT, when they're already in, and everything.
