Some girls seem to have a tendency to set their feet
Into one of the nests where vipers meet.
There never were any predecessors to tell,
Where they did wandered in mistake as well.
Tread lightly child, the path you walk is dangerous indeed,
I’ve seen too many girls like you succumb theirselves to sin.

Lucy got entangled in the web they wove;
She’s now lost all sense to the outside world.
I reckon her days left with us are few,
But Lucy, my memory will always stand as a monument for you.
