[Python] Having difficulty working with packages

I'm using pydev in eclipse, but I'm having trouble getting files and code to run in the order I want them to.

Basically, main.__init__.py runs starts the code, and is supposed to create a 'Game'. Game essentially is supposed to create an 'Entity', so I want it to require Entity. Entity requires EntityType. EntityType requires Animation.

At some point between when EntityTypes and Animations are initialized and when Game creates an Entity, I need to run the entities __init__.py file (or run the parseEntities function if possible). However, every form of import statement I've tried will not seem to let me run the function.

Please help!

I don't think there can be subpackages, as I am unable to even create one under another.
