The goal of ROSE Online is to gain a sense of your purpose as a Visitor to this universe and take
an active part in the ever-evolving storyline. Depending on your adventures and actions, you may take
part in the central story or go off on your adventures.
Rose Online Guide
There are various tales, fantasies, and legends around the seven planets and many of them contain
some grain of truth.

Our universe, or as it was called in the old tales, the '¡±Sea of Souls¡±, was a vast ocean of darkness
until the goddess Arua created the seven planets. Each one of them was special and unique. However,
all seven planets were created with Arua's love and they shined with the brilliance of seven stars,
filling the vast ocean of darkness with wondrous light and life.

However, Hebarn, god of malice, grew envious of Arua for her creative power. He forcefully took
the seventh planet and pompously named it after himself. Hebarn had become a constant threat
to the peace of the seven planets as well as to the goddess Arua.

To protect the planets from Hebarn's looming menace, Arua created the Visitors, living beings
to protect and inhabit the planets. They were scattered among the seven planets to bring
peace and justice to the different worlds.

ROSE Online consists of seven vast planets. Each planet has
its own set of particular characteristics and environments.
Interplanetary explorers will enjoy the many different adventure
scenarios that these worlds have to offer.

Players can form groups and compete for dominion over
the seven planets. Unlike a small scale war, such as a guild
war in which players fight for the possession of castles, players
can take part in a huge war in which the fate of an entire planet
is at stake. Once you become the king of a planet, you will have
political and economic authority as ruler of that planet's
government. The one who can put all 7 planets under his
control will become the most powerful force in the universe.

There are a total of 3 forms of transportation available in
ROSE Online. Castle Gear which was developed to cause great
damage to enemies in battles, the Cart which was developed to
efficiently traverse the land, and the Flying Vessel which was
developed to realize the dream of exploring outer space. It is
possible to customize Carts and Castle Gears by changing
parts and upgrading abilities.

The quests in ROSE Online are affected by the activities of the
user community. Every change in the game, such as item price,
monster spawn rate, MVP monster spawn rate or the weather,
is dramatically influenced by the actions of the users.
Every major event that occurs on the 7 planets is recorded on
the official website. The names of characters that played key
roles in these events are displayed on the official website so
that their legendary deeds will be recorded for posterity.

Factions differ from Clans because the faction community is
controlled by NPCs rather than by the users.
By joining factions, users can participate in various quests
which drive the stories of the 7 planets. Every faction has
a certain extent of authority on economy, politics, public orders,
magic, arts and religion. Each faction has its own alliances and
hostilities, and different events can occur as a result of
the complexity of the relationships between factions.

Materials for creating items are distributed differently in various
areas. Therefore, towns in different areas possess differing
amounts of each material. As a result, when a town possesses
too much of one material, the price of that material goes down
automatically, and when the amount of a specific material
becomes lower than expected, the town immediately activates
a quest which encourages users to gather the materials to
balance out the economy of the town. Users can take advantage
of this economy system by buying an item at a low price in one
town and selling the item at higher price in another town.

Gods were believed to be perfect beings of flawless
beauty and virtue. But in reality, the gods suffered from
the same inadequacies and emotions as humans.
Like mortals they laugh and cry, grow angry and learn to
forgive, fall in love and become jealous.
It was the through the love and imagination of
the goddess Arua that the seven planets were created,
but it was through the jealousy and anger of the god
Hebarn that the light of the seven planets were threatened
to be consumed in darkness.
Arua's lover, the god Junon, became aware of Hebarn's
malicious intent and rushed to aid her in defense of
the seven planets. As the patron god of adventurers,
Junon marshaled the rise of heroes in times of crisis.
He came to enlist the aid of the human inhabitants of
the seven planets in this war.

Throughout history, Heroes are recognized as people
who have accomplished great achievements.
They are champions of strength and moral character.
In ROSE, heroes follow Junon, the patron god of
adventurers. They deliver his message in their adventures
around the 7 planets. Factions keep a historical record of
their heroes within their ranks, as well as mementos of
their many adventures. Users are able to check these
histories once they join a faction.

This Mostly What They Have On Their Game

I personally dont like ROSE, maybe its just because I dont like killing jelly beans, butterflies, and pumpkins... but I dont know...

Last time I played I was looking for a bow, there were a few different bows but they all shared the same level requirenments (Im not sure of them, something like 13, 18, 21...) yea..

I played it on Philippine Beta. pretty easy to level up. But the Lag! Oh the lag was so horrible... We're neighbors, but the ping time... it was horrible. 300+!

I just hope they're not that retardedly lagging anymore.

  • No one is chatting at the moment.
  • Varine Varine:
Good luck to the hurricane path people. Is TH still in Houston?
  • Ghan Ghan:
    I think so
    +1
  • The Helper The Helper:
Yeah we got nothing here did not even rain
  • Ghan Ghan:
    We could use some rain.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I am not complaining though Hurricanes are not fun I have been through alot of them
  • Blackveiled Blackveiled:
I evacuated for it just incase since I live in La Porte pretty much right on the water (in Houston area). Didn't see anything. It's a good thing for me anyways.
  • Ghan Ghan:
It's too bad that Blizzard messed up so terribly with Reforged.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Still has a 0.6 user metacritic score.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    (Out of 10)
  • Varine Varine:
I haven't even tried it yet because everyone said it sucked. How do you get .6 out of ten?
  • The Helper The Helper:
I am waiting for Dwarf Fortress to come out on Steam then I am on it.
  • Accname Accname:
I play Dwarf Fortress from time to time.
  • Accname Accname:
    Its Okay.
  • Accname Accname:
But the performance is sub-par. Does not seem to be well optimized.
  • Varine Varine:
Is the Steam version coming with a graphical overlay or is it using the ASCII graphics still?
  • tom_mai78101 tom_mai78101:
Steam version has the graphical overlay.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Steam Version has graphics, a new interface and will be integrated in the steam mod stuff
  • Blackveiled Blackveiled:
I didn't think WC3 Reforged was that bad. It pretty much did what it stated (to me at least), but then again I can care less about reforged campaigns and all that. I just care about gameplay.
  • Varine Varine:
I think people were hoping for a resurgence in mod support. I have little interest in the actual game tbh
  • Varine Varine:
Plus I know they added that Dota precedent clause where Blizzard can steal your shit which isn't cool.
  • Ghan Ghan:
They sold Reforged to the community as primarily a huge graphical uplift with high res textures and redone cinematics.
  • Ghan Ghan:
They even showed one of the redone cinematics at Blizzcon and that very cinematic wasn't even in the released game.
  • Ghan Ghan:
So I think folks were angry about that.
  • Varine Varine:
Didn't the backwards compatability have issues too?
  • Accname Accname:
I never had any hopes for that. Blizzard is not the same company it was 10 years ago.
