Rain of Sheep

I'd like to make a custom ability based off of Rain of Fire. Except replace the fire shards with sheep. I saw that the Effect used for Rain of Fire was a falling fire shard, so I tried replacing it with a sheep. But this had no effect at all. Does anyone know how to make it rain sheep?

All of the fire balls are one big model. As the sheep is one model, so are all the little special effects.

In fact, the WHOLE process and effect of falling rocks is inside the model.

So unless you can edit models, you probobly cannot change them to sheep.

- You might be able to come up with some kind of trigger to make it rain sheep.

Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
Conditions
(Ability being cast) Equal to Rain of Fire
Actions
For each (Integer A) from 1 to 10, do (Actions)
Loop - Actions
Unit - Create 1 Flying Sheep for Player 1 (Red) at ((Target point of ability being cast) offset by (Random real number between 0.00 and 200.00) towards (Random angle) degrees) facing (Random angle) degrees
Wait 0.50 seconds


If you do this exactly it should have a rain of fire plus start making sheep all around the casted area.
The damage will come from the rain of fire and if you make the sheep have like 1 hp and give them a unholy aura with a negitive number to the hp regeneration bonus.
(File -> Preferences -> Allow negitive real values in the object editor) [this must be checked]
Then the sheep will be made and fall and die at the same time.

yep what he said, the sheep model has no "falling" animation, so you cant use it.

it is possible through triggers, somewhat difficult using the "english" coding, a little bit easier using JASS. maybe use darky's acid rain as a starting point.

Erm, their may be an easier way.. heres a thought:

As the spells ART - TARGET use 'polymorph effect'

That's a falling sheep that hits the ground and goes BOOM! And blood goes everywhere, so it's all good... *JUST A THOUGHT!!*
