Random IE crashes

First off, I'd like to say I have Internet Explorer 6.0 and all the updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

I'm using Windows XP and the only plugins I have is the Google toolbar. When I goto some sites, IE crashes. This includes www.ebaumsworld.com and yahoo searches sometimes. Thanks for your help in advance :)
 
Try degragging. Also, how long have you had this problem? Was it upon the initial install of Windows?
 
When it crashes, it should ask you to send the info to Microsoft. If you click around, there's a place where you can see the info it wants to send.

It sometimes gives a hint as to what is causing the crash (sometimes it shows flash.ocx, for example which is the flash plugin)

Can you paste that here?
 
I'm experiencing the same thing! Seems to have started concurrently with Yahoo! Mail using pop-up windows.
 
Ad-Aware Solved

Duh. Made the connection it's not Yahoo! serving up the pop ups, it's a browser hijacker.

I updated my reflist for Ad-Aware (free version) and it seems to have taken care of the problem. Found 4 browser hijackers--and I had scanned 9 hours ago, so a lot of the new releases on this reflist are important.
 
Yup, i would try using adaware, make sure you update the defintion files first.. If that doesnt help, i would download the full copy of internet explorer, not the version that will download the files as needed from the web. If that doesnt work, the quickest way to fix is probably a format unfortunately.. I after this it will probably take more take to figure out than it would to format and reinstall. If you dont wanna reinstall, i would try a different browser, my favorite is mozilla firefox, far superior to internet explorer in my opinion, it includes a pop up blocker and a download manager integrated for starts, give it a try if your sick of ie related problems, heres a link. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ , keep in mind , you will need to use internet explorer to use the windows update feature.

    I have two salmon, Sockeye and Atlantic. Atlantic is used for the kids salmon and the salmon and beet salad, and can also be added onto any dish or just as a side. Atlantic salmon will almost exclusively ever be FARMED, as it is endangered in the wild, and we ALWAYS cut them to 4 ounces.

    SOCKEYE salmon, very different and this IS wild caught. We have an ENTREE version, and an add on version. The entree is 7 ounces, the add on is 4. Why? Because that is how someone that wasn't me set up the computer.

    All in all though I think this summer is going really well. Some complicated things, but at the end of the day it isn't THAT big of a deal. Not all of our servers have quite realized they are technically sales

    Like yeah it is a substitute, but FOMO. Chef isn't getting this again this year, he has to figure it out, so it's slightly off on the menu, but that is more or less the LOWEST quality and price. Right now, steelhead is a real stealhear, right?
