Rant about sevenforums/eightforums...

But you did not have multiple accounts did you? Or did you have have more than one account without realizing you did?

Sometimes when you have signed up on a site because you want to answer a post or take part in a discussion. You register, and then maybe you don't go back on the site again. And then a year later you may have forgotten that you were already a member of that forum. And so you forget your user name and password and set up a new account. Did that happen?

But if not then why did they accuse you of having multiple accounts?

But I have heard that other people have been banned from Seven Forums for no reason. So it has not just happened to us, but to other people. So I think that Seven Forums are very strict, and stricter than most forums.
But if you want a Windows 7 forum, try Windows 7 forums www.windows7forums.com.

They are not very strict, even if you go off of the topic. And the atmosphere is more relaxed there.Andrea Borman.
Thanks, I might check it out sometime. I did make a second account I just didn't know it was against the rules, they don't seem to care.

I always use the same username for every site I go to these days, albeit it isn't either of the two accounts I have here :p

I think that,Expert Law forums were taking the mickey by posting a similar ban message to as Seven Forums did.

But as I said before it could be because I am famous on the Internet.
I expect it's more a result of you being annoying.

Monitoring you to ensure you don't get up to shenanigans is giving me a headache. Out you go.
they posted that reason, and honestly the first one looks like you snapped at a person who said that you posted in the wrong forum, and then linked you to the proper one, then closed the thread - strict forums? yes, but not an abuse of power by the mods either

Most people fail at life throughout their adulthood. Sometimes we get to learn from it. Usually it just feels like crap.

Are we still on the topic of failing? I failed lots!
  • jonas jonas:
If you ever want to talk about it we're here. The way I see it, you're still around. That required a few very difficult successes if you ask me:)
  • Varine Varine:
I posted a thing here a while ago about my failures if it makes you feel better to hear about other people failing. Drugs and whatnot, I had a lot more fun than was healthy. I'm still a failure, but very few of us actually get to be the self made billionaire. Luck is the only thing that will take you as far as already having money a lot of the time, and the easiest way to get catch that is with a very wide net and the willingness to let other things loose.

Have fun, do your best, something about Edison's light bulb not working until he stole it.
  • jonas jonas:
Eh. Don't define success as being a billionaire or even millionaire. Success is about overcoming your personal challenges. And if you can get to a place in life where you can love yourself, that is winning it big time
  • jonas jonas:
Being a billionaire probably sucks, you can't go out in public like a random person anymore and you always need a bunch of big guys following you around discreetly
  • jonas jonas:
And you'll never know if anyone you know really likes you or is just seeing you as a big money sack
  • jonas jonas:
Most of the best fun I've ever head was with a group of friends eating pizza or drinking a good 10$ bottle of wine, when I had maybe 100$ on my account. Or the time when I was so broke, my friends visited me with bags of ingredients and I cooked for us, because I didn't have money to buy ingredients anymore

I see someone invested $53K in $0.20/share, then get a 163000+% return of $43 million.
  • jonas jonas:
keep your fingers away from that, it's a ponzi scheme. Early birds get rich everyone else pays for it
  • jonas jonas:
I've thought about shorting the stock but you never know how far the price can rise, I think at the latest in march the price will collapse
  • jonas jonas:
that's when the insiders are allowed to sell and get rich thanks to the small time investors
