Cheeseburger Pie
This Cheeseburger Pie recipe makes a flavorful and delicious Classic American Cheeseburger Pie!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

- Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C)
- Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside
- Cook the ground beef in a large skille over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes
- Drain any excess fat from the skillet
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef mixture with the shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce, then mix well
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie crust
- In a medium bowl, make the batter by whisking together the eggs, milk, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and mustard powder until smooth and well combined
- Pour the batter evenly over the beef mixture in the pie crust
- Place the pie dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
- Remove pie from the oven and let it cool slightly
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley
- Slice and serve hot
