Crispy Fried Pork Chops
This Crispy Fried Pork Chops recipe makes a nice batter surrounding the juicy Pork Chop that is crispy and flavorful.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 3 shallow dishes
- Large skillet for frying
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
- In another shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk
- Place breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish
- Dredge each pork chop in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess
- Dip in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom
- Once skillet is hot, add pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through
- Remove pork chops from skillet and let drain on paper towels
- Serve immediately
Note:
- Pairs well with Ranch Style beans, mac and cheese, cole slaw, stewed apples or applesauce
