Region Selection

ok, im making a maze as part of a map. in that maze i have 83 regions. each one of them has the same purpous. In my trigger its

unit-unit enters region (#)

im trying to make it so i dont have to do that 83 times. is there a way to make all the regions go in the events section in one move? i tried clicking on a region and then dragging down, but when i checked, the region(there was only 1) was the one i had clicked on and none of the others(when i dragged on them) were put into the events section. is there a way to do this?

To my knowlage no. Try just making your regions bigger (if you alrdy didn't) so there are less of them. You could however copy and paste it 83 or 84 times and then just change the region.

Lol, maybe you could do something like make a region array, and then - but no, you'd need to set it 80 times I think ...

I'd advise you to jsut progress in small steps. Do it one level at a time

You can use koga73's maze region writer found a wc3sear.ch under the tools section.

I've been doing mazes for a while now and believe me, it is no easy target when it comes to regions!

My advice is, eliminate regions and stretch others so that you have a smaller job to do!

My maze (64x64) had over 417 regions! (mine is found at wc3sear.ch and you may find stuff in it if you want)

As its a maze, i would be interested to see it when it is finished as i am a big fan of maze games

well, i don't want to copy and paste it 83 times because if i mess up, i will screw up the whole maze and then have to do it all over again. There is a way to open another maze and copy the events i want from there, but i just got a new computer and i dont have any maps to do it from. And i cant get them because i dont have internet yet. I will when i set up a network between my brother's and my dad's computer. So i'm just trying to make this map(which actually now has 138 mazing regions), a new way(if there is on), that will help me A Lot in the futer. I'm kinda basing the map on Wc3: ROC/Scenario/Warchasers.
Oh and BTW, can anyone post a trigger to make it so when i go within x distance of unit i die?
