Regular units with items?

Is it possible to make a footman able to hold items and level up like a hero?

It is, the only thing is you'd have to make the footman into a 'hero' unit. In order to do this, simply go into the unit editor and select "Create Unit" Select a hero for the base unit and change the model to footman. change all fields (I.e. HP, Mana, Damage, etc...) to your liking.

You forgot two important things . Unit Sound Set change it to the same unit, or whatever you want, and change the player icon at the top of the unit editor on your unit .
