Removing Camera Position from Minimap?

Problem Status: Solved

I want to remove the little white box that shows you where your camera is on the minimap.

So lets say if i had a pitch black war3mapMap (In game custom minimap) and was just moving it around the map, you can still see a white outline showing where the camera is pointed on the minimap.

I wish to remove this!

As you can tell this is a little bit weird on a completely black background, and pretty annoying in my situation.

I've searched around but havn't really seen anyone mention it.

I doubt it.

Unless theres a texture for it in the Gameplay interface tab.

while I have no idea how to remove the white box that moves around on the minimap (i might try figuring that out), you can create a blank text document and name it war3mapMap.blp and use that instead. What this will do is not only create a black minimap, but it will also completely disable any kind of interaction with the minimap as well as the white box.

I've Tried your method xxxtrickyxxx and it seems to be the best i can do, and its fine with me really, so.. Case closed
