Removing footprints and related sounds from units

(I think AceHart helped me with this like 2 years ago, but I couldn't find the other thread.)

I'm looking for a way to remove footprints from units such as Ancients or Tauren, as well as the stomping sounds made when they walk. I know it can be done as I did it before. I'm almost certain it involves editing a .mdx file, and then re-importing it, but I'm not sure what exactly to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Goto the unit editor and look at the sound fields.
The movement sound is in there.
As for the foot steps, not to sure on this.

I guess there's an option in the Object Editor. Try opening your unit's data in the Object Editor. Almost certain there's an option to remove the sound and the footprints.

Hmm.

I've looked in both areas, the Sound Editor and the Object Editor and didn't see the sound files nor the options.

If you set the unit's 'Movement Type - Walk' To 'Movement Type - Hover' maybe that will get rid of the footprints?
