Respawn creeps.

Hi helpers.I want a simple way to make creeps respawn.Does anyone has tha patience to write something like that??It would be perfect.greetings from greece

yeah ok, but be specific please.

where do u want them to respawn and how long after?
must they get stronger?

Just make a trigger with the event 'a unit is killed'. Then, tell it to wait, and at the end of the wait, if the unit is a creep, revive it.

ah i would rather he use (create 1 unit of (unit-type of dying unit) at random point in map) or something

but yeah its quite straight forward

ty for trying to help.Ok i would like to respawn creeps at the same possision they are and to be exectly tha same as befor not stronger not weaker.Thats all.I have place them on the map and i want to respawn every 5 minutes of game time .Just this :)

      • If ((Number of units in (Units within 700.00 of (Center of (Region centered at (Position of (Dying unit)) with size (1.00, 1.00))) matching (((Matching unit) belongs to an enemy of Neutral Hostile) Equal to True))) Equal to 0) then do (Unit - Replace (Dying unit) with a (Unit-type of (Dying unit)) using The new unit's max life and mana) else do (Trigger - Run (This trigger) (checking conditions))




is that trigger ok ??

can i copy it from here and to paste in to my triggers and to work properly?
I dont think so.You have to look here and create same actions in your world editor, if you cant i will create demo map for you and then you can copy from it.So do you want demo map ?

Your trigger isn't going to work if the triggering unit disappears from the game by decay, Lifee. Furthermore, that trigger example leaks more than just a location and will cause the game to lag.

A system isn't something that takes only one line of GUI. We'll first be able to help you on this subject once you are willing to accept that there is work and a learning process involved in making a map.

my trigger is working very fine,im using it in my map and it doesnt cause lag or something other

That same attitude is how most bugs and glitches make it into maps. Understand how the game truly works and you will be able to create a good playable map. Badly written triggers can be exploited and cause lag even when it doesn't seem like it at first.

For instance, since your trigger uses the position of the dying unit, it's possible to pull the creep spawns beyond their return range by killing them further and further away from their original spawn position, and make all the creeps respawn next to something like an enemy base.

yes i know that i have marked 5-6 regions and if they leave them,they will be teleport back somewhere into their region.I dont know other respawn system.And maybe later in my map i will create a x1 region for each creep( some1 gave me this idea,but forgot who )

You're already talking about creating several triggers working together to account for bugs - a system. Isn't that what I said starting in this thread? ;-)
