General Description

Resurrección is a map created by me during my free time while working on my other project, the idea of this is to be a creep fight in which hero's are in an arena, inside the arena you can kill monsters and other players to obtain gold. With this gold you can purchase items for your hero, tomes to make them stronger, buffs for your creeps that are fighting up top, or even an builder to build extra defensive units around your main building.​



Main Goal


There is only one way to win, and that is to make your creeps push forward and destroy the enemy teams main structure, you cannot help your creeps directly, only through power ups.​


Creeps

Once a teams creeps push through and make it to the other side, they are teleported to one of the zones on the side of the map depending on the team, here the team can build defensive structures, kind-of like in wintermaul, or any other TD really where the general idea is to create your own maze, but beware.... The structures are expensive, it's not unusual to not have these near the begining of the game.​

It's a project, and my WE is being lame, so i have to reinstall.

Link to what? I haven't even started it yet.

More Info, i have none left to give as of right now, because development hasn't officially started.


I plan to have terrain done by the end of today and some basic mechanics if all goes well.

terrain should be done after triggering and base heroes, regions after terrain, then heroes after regions
base heroes are the ones required to test the map, but only those, you never know what you may have to change and terrain is the hardest to change once its made

I like to make the terrain first, and just tell myself... This is what i have to work with.

Oh, I apologize then.

I am more used to finishing a project/needing help with one rather than a statement of what the person will do.

Is there any particular area in which you need help?
(i would be willing to help in any section other than Terraining)

    How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that

    Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings

    And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that

    These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
