Revive Hero On Death

I'm having problems with this simple trigger for some reason I can't understand. It's just a simple trigger to revive your hero when he dies, but for some reason the hero isnt reviving. Anyways, hopefully someone can point mem in the right direction. :confused:

1. Try this instead:

Code:
((Dying unit) is A Hero) Equal to True

2.
Code:
((Dying unit) has an item of type Ankh of Reincarnation) Equal to False

Is that always true?

3. Try using Triggering Unit instead of Dying Unit.

It's checking the conditions and everything just fine, because I tested just using a simple message, and that worked.

You might try adding a wait before the revive.

Maybe camera is in the wrong place, I don't see how the wait could work.

Hmmm, the wait didn't help, and I already knew that it wasn't just the screen in the wrong place :p

Reviving on death right when it happened sometimes just fails.
Also, you don't need that ankh comparison thing.
If you have reincarnation, the unit does not die in fact (when you kill it and it starts reincarnating, the killer does not get xp or any credit.

Hmm, I tried adding a 10 second wait, and that still did nothing, so, Looks like I'm back where I started :(

The value of Dying Unit is lost after a wait, try with triggering unit.

Have you tried using a Generic event?
E - Unit - A unit dies
C - Dying unit is a hero equal to true
A - Set Unit_Var[(Player number of (owner of (triggering unit)))] = Triggering unit
- Wait 10 seconds
- Hero instantly revive Unit_Var[(Player number of (owner of (triggering unit)))]
- Unit - Set mana of (Last created unit) to 100.00%

You don't have to use variables, but i think the wait loses the triggering unit so...

Triggering Unit does not get lost. It's local.

That should probably just be ((Dying Unit) is A Hero) Equal to True.
