Reviving heroes in different locations

You should probably just use GUI for that trigger since its pretty simple being just a revive trigger. Anyway...

See the line near the bottom:

Code:
call ReviveHeroLoc(OURHERO, GetRectCenter(GetPlayableMapRect()), true )

GetRectCenter(GetPlayableMapRect()) is what controls where the hero is revived. Currently, it is getting the Center of PlayableMap which basically means the center of the map.

Juse use an If/Then/Else statement for "If dying unit is owned by an ally of player 1 then do revive dying unit at <region where player 1's team revives> else do revive dying unit at <region where player 2's team revives>

*Change the Player 1 and 2, I just made the assumption that player 1 is on team 1 and player 2 is on team 2. Make sure to substitute the Player 1 part with someone on team one and substitute Player 2 with someone on team 2.*

Well your going to need to different triggers, do what they did, but for the condition make it so it only revives those 1-5 players, at your region, and 6-10 players at the other region of your choice.

If he has 1-5 players on one force and 6-10 players on another couldn't you just do the boolean check if "Owner of reviving unit is an ally of <player>" and use If/Then/Else so you can keep it in one trigger?

Lol, revive triggers in my maps are usually one single really short trigger. Don't know why this is getting so complicated. He should just use full GUI instead of custom text.

Unless he is using Reign of Chaos...

Could you give me an example of what you mean?

And no, I use TFT.

instead of using custom scripts just use trigger editor
events - a unit dies
conditions - Owner of triggered unit equal to player red
actions - hero - revive hero (instantly) to **Region**

and change the conditions for every player

I think this is wat u mean i am not sure

Well, I need it to create a delay in reviving based on the hero level as well (ie; 3 second delay per level)
And I also need a box to showup to display the time remaining before the revive.

    LOL! A tweak job!

this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I changed the settings a bit.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Narrowed it to 7 days for the half-life and set views to 0 weight.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I dont think Trending would work for this forum it would be better to just have the last 5 posts from anywhere
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably will have to give it some time to update.

One thing I have noticed and I dont know if it is by design but like 1 out of 3 times I come to the site the Anubis screen just hangs open, if I refresh it will go away but sometimes it hangs
  • Ghan Ghan:
    I've seen that as well.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

Weekend went by too fast. Next weekend I am going to try to do a nature thing - buddy of mine lives by the Colorado river and has some kayaks and invited me to do some kayaking from a place he knows to get on the river.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    That sounds like an adventure.
