Reviving heros

I made some custom heros and a custom building how to i make it so i can revive my heros at this custom building. I gave the building the revive hero ability but that didnt work. My heros also dont revive at any of the regular atars either. is there a revive ability need for the heros??? Please help. THanks

there's a field for the building called "stats - revives dead heroes". Set that to true and get rid of the revive hero ability.

(yeah I know its a bit dumb but they changed it so we got no choice)

That didnt work for me, i took away the revive ability and checked the revive dead heros box but i still cant revive my heros. I also put the custom building in the hero revive location on the units and still no luck. Any suggestions, is there another place i could have messed something up like game constants or something???

possibly yes, you are going to have to make a new blank map, then try making a custom building that revives dead heroes. See if that works.

That worked. But i copied that unit to my other map and then it stoped working. Does this make any sense? THis is really stressing me out i have been working on this map for a couple weeks and now this little thing wont work. ARG...........
Any thoughts?

have you changed anything in gameplay constants? imported any files? modified existing abilities? changed your underwear?
