River problem!

i cant make smooth rivers but instead i can make flying rivers and thats just something that i do by manipulating the terrain(for those intressted people)
but can some one wrigt once again how to make smooth rivers

you want to be able to walk over rivers, then make the ground "smooth" down to the shallow water? ?

well below the options of cliff terrians i the "Terrian Editor" i belive some *blue* buttoms with diffrent pictures on are the ones ur looking for

Place water, use the same level tool and cover it up, lower the ground into it.

Can you post a screenshot of your flying water?

I know a version of it, like this. How did you get that?

EDIT: I think i just got it, but not as good as yours. Water acts so flipping werid in WC.

well at first i make a little hill and i make deep water at the top of it then i just lower the ground and there you go flying water
ohh by the way you got to have enforced water height limits
