Roc Ability Help

How do u edit starfall to rain sheeps in the night elf func or something (reign of chaos abilities not tft)

starfall has a buff, or is it an effect? it might be an effect? Anyways, go to effects and buffs, find the effect or buff, of starfall, and change its art to sheep, imma get on editor real quick then ill update this with step by step if you still need it

The starfall model is actually the missle that falls, so if you use a sheep it will appear on the ground (and die).

lol let the poor kid have his sheep fall it's been done in footmen 3.8 and it was fairly successfull.. it doesn't appear on the ground and expload, it appears about an inch above the unit then falls and exploads Oo
i know why i was confused :nuts: there is a starfall effect, and a buff, id fiddle with both of them to see if it works =/

You could do it with dummy units and Animation - Change flying height. But Im not sure how RoC supports any of this...

There is NO ability/buff editor in roc

i dont understand that Oo roc and tft use the same editor do they not? so would they not have the same tabs? or am i going crazy and should be going to sleep?

umm ok.. how u edit buffs for roc (i dont think their is a way) =/ and yes their is an ability editor for roc just a harder way for it by usin slk editor

The RoC editor only has the TFT stuff if you have TFT installed, but still if you use ANY of it the map will be saved as W3X instead of W3M (I think, X for expansion, M for map).

The only way is to crack open the MPQ and extract the files, then you edit the text... Its complicated though, I suggest buying TFT (I got both for 20 bucks with the strategy guide (that I lost the first day and never found again ROFL))

Theres a few people here that only use RoC. Dont quite remember who, but a simple forum search of 'Roc' and 'Ability' would probrably get you where you want to go.
