Router Issue

I need to access my router, but nobody in my house knows the password (or even the user name). If anybody knows a way for me do this, please tell me. I have a Westell VersaLink 3200.

Just a shot in the dark, but try admin as the username and the serial number of the router (probably on a sticker on the bottom) as the password.

why are you trying to be able to host? cuz i think i can do it w.o needing to mess with router.

what i would love to know is how to bypass the pass on my Linksys router...i stupidly

On a Linksys router, if you reset the password to default, it's "admin".

Linsys - Username = Admin (default) Pass= Admin or (blank)
Westell VersaLink 3200 = Call who you got it from or the company that made it.

I looked online and there is no dang website for the Westell VersaLink 3200 no is there much good documentation on Westell VersaLink 3200 either.

If you cannot still call ne one or get help I can help you find the info you need to call the maker of it.

Well, that might be because I entered the name wrong. It's actually a Westell VersaLink 327W. Sorry about that.

There is all the info you need for that lil bugger of yours. All you need to do is tell it what model number it is from the VersaLink pulldown menu.

If that number on yours does not match the one in the pulldown then try the discontinued list.

some router have a tiny reset button at the back,

if you press and hold it for 10+ seconds it will clear the password.

It is 30 seconds, and if that dont work unplug em all from the router and leave it for 1 min.

But that is if the site i provided doesnt help.

Try these patches ive found helpful.Just choose the one you need and restart comp and push the reset on router it may help.It worked for me w/ my linksys wireless

Does it do anything else? The reason I ask is if it clears the router settings and stuff, I will probably get in trouble with my parents.

Yes, this is called a hard reset Silverhawk. It will delete all of your settings on your router, totally clears your router, and reloads the default settings.

And i do believe it is 30 seconds to hold the button in.
