One day not too long ago I decided to make a signature for each of my closest friends. It took a while, but I've learned lots of new things since I tried to make each of them as unique as possible compared to the others.

And finally, they're all done. These are my 6 friends and me. C&C please :)

Oh, and don't mind the titles, they're an inside joke.

Guess which one's me! :D

I bet you're King David.

I like the second and last one the most.

The first one I focus on the area beneath the text more. The third one, I dislike his back towards the viewer and there isn't much movement (flow) in the sig. The fourth is ok, but its totally got a floating head and is over exposed, to much white space. On the fifth one I focus off to the left more. And the sixth one is way too over exposed. To much white space also.

I hope Natalie. Most likely King David though.

For the most part there should be more of the body shown than just the head and part of the neck. It creates a floating effect to my eyes through this shitty monitor. Aside from that, idk, good job.

Agree with above posters, I also like the second one. I've seen it many times before, but the style for that one blends alright with the dark gloves (from what I can see) and phone. The bright blonde hair contrasts quite nicely too.

All of them seem a bit too oversharpened, or 'bright', some are a bit too monotone for my liking. But overall, nice job. I don't remember how long I've been inactive for, but there's definetly some vast improvement since I last clicked one of your threads.

also, 10 bucks you're 5th one down.

Aha, that's clever. "I Am Sarah". That's what it says, right? O.O

But they're cool, nice job,

Yeah they are all names with either King, Sir or Lady titles. I can see how you thought that was an I, though :)

Keep it coming;

The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
