Samsung N-2000 Trouble

Need help please. My N-2000 is locking up while watching DVD's. The picture will freeze and not move forward. Occassionally I can hit FF and it will move on, but of course this is highly annoying.

Anyone seen this before? Does the laser need calibrating? If so...are there any internet instructions on how to do so?
