saving files from the internet

When i try to save files of the internet e.g google it will only let me save them as art or bitmap and then i cant open them in my pictures

This is getting really annoying.

any ideas guys?
 
If there pictures open them in Paint, then go to file save as and change it to .jpeg or .gif or whatever
 
i have tried that and it says that the picture is not supported
 
I believe Microsoft link #1 is the most common problem. If your temporary internet files folder is bloated, you will not be able to save images in their true form. However, while the downloaded images are saved as a bitmap, they can be opened with different graphics programs. (from my own expeiences)

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
