This thread is for people to upload their replays (NO DISCUSSION PLEASE)!

If you want to discuss, start a new thread with a link to the post containing the replay.

It'll be neater this way and less clutter.

Think of this thread as an archive.

This is my first game in the Beta, it's Zerg vs Terran

Early and Mid-game is in favor of Terran.

Late Game, Terran and Zerg battle it out with air units with Zerg ultimately winning out.

For me it's "C:\Users\Sevion\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Replays". In there you'll see two folders "Multiplayer" and "Recent".

My Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Replays\recent (Or, whatever other folder is there besides recent)

EDIT: The power of gold minerals and a repaired planetary fortress. He played reasonably well - he was better then me, probably. But he failed to take down my expo and got thor's, although I think vikings would have been better.

The 2's: We're both noobs (Me more so then him) and somehow the enemy knew we were zergling rushing. We both lost our main bases to his air, but somehow we made a comeback.

Here is a testament to why you should never give up.

I create a pretty well rounded build, but admittedly get a bit greedy. the enemy masses roaches and stalkers and wipes me out. I spend most of the rest of the game playing defensively, hiding out in my Ally's base. eventually we just starve them to death.

things to learn: massing a single unit = bad. there were several times the enemy threw a lot of either roaches, stalkers, broodlords, etc. and they were wiped out.

the value of force multipliers like the infestor. keeping a few of those around can turn the tide of battle or allow you to attack even though your forces are weak.

Is it OK to revive this thread?:p I just had a really nail biting game. I'm pretty noob so it might not look impressive to you, but I struggled to maintain one mineral patch while he had three, and he was really pressuring me good. I wasn't sure I would win all of the way to the last minute.

He got: Lings, Roaches, Mutalisks, Hydralisks, Broodlords (Not counting things like overseers)
I got: Towers, Zealots, Stalkers, Sentries (Not many), Immortals (not very many), Colossi, Phoenix's, Dark Templar

We changed what units we were getting a lot, but pheonix's won it for the most part by killing his muta's and broodlord's consistently.

It was on the lava map, too.

My second game, and first win.
The first game was devoted to learning the tech-tree and the sort. :)
Obviously, I'm inexperienced, though I did think the game was intense. :p

I learned the importance of scouting in this game too; If I hadn't seen what he was going, I would've been slaughtered with the units I was going for.

this one is a rather humourous match i played last night in a 1v1 gold league match. we were both zerg, my enemy threw every expected cheese tactic at me. first he massed speedlings, then mutalisks. each time i countered succesfully, eventually he quits in frustration when i get a group of roaches into his base.

Dear Zerg players: if you're going to use cheese strategies, at least have the foresight to work on a contingency in the event your cheese fails, or else you'll end up like this guy.

Wow, your opponent was really pretty terrible...

It's like everything he could do wrong he did...

Attacking a spine crawler with his mutas instead of a spore crawler in the making, epic lawlz.

sign into B.net and then at the top left there is a button that looks like a video camera that says "replay"

I did, thats what happened with the unaccessible file. I drag and dropped it into replay folder and it was there. So I tried replaying when that error occurred via battle.net

How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
