Nicole Nagington, 12, was so upset she dyed her hair blonde to try to prevent the abuse.

But her new appearance failed to stop the bullies who sent her seven poison pen letters in one day before attacking her in the playground.

One letter, scrawled on school note paper, read: ''You're still a ginger -----. All gingers should die.''

Nicole's distraught parents decided to withdraw her from school fearing for their daughter's safety.

I'm a redhead. Perhaps not so obviously visible as some others, but I've had my fair share of taunts. And I found that the philospophy of LeVayen Satanism really helped with that sort of thing. Self Indulgence, an eye for an eye morality, it helped me focus and exact my revenge. 'Cos when one guy went too far - and I mean death threats and physical assaults - he got what was coming to him. I seriously doubt he will mentally recover for some time.

Also, redheads are hot.

I'm pretty sure that the ginger kid on Youtube is faking it. If anything, he's responsible for bringing this Ginger thing up again.

I've never heard of actual real world situations where red-haired people were abused. If anything, it's kinda of a joke. But I guess not everywhere else.

Really? I've had it pretty bad, especially when I was younger. It only really stopped a couple of years ago, because at that stage all the idiots had left school and generally the people left were smart enough to see that the way you look doesn't have any bearing on your person.

And if it does come up (usually brain dead delinquents passing in the street) a barrage of high grade profanity and long complicated words usually suffices to discombobulate them enough for my own satisfaction :D

I'm pretty sure being a ginger has pretty much nothing to do with it.
Later in the article it sais she has a hearing aid and she was bullied earlier in life.
-> she got victim personality.

Not saying that it's not bad and wrong what happened but this article is misleading :<

Such 'gingerism' in the UK has outdated the South Park episode for goodness knows how long. From what I gather, in the US 'gingerism' is non-existant or at least on a very tiny scale, whereas in the UK it is just a part of cultural habit.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
