Hey,

I'm currently testing with creating abilities using textmacro's and I faced a problem.
I couldn't add extended tooltips to the ability using textmacro's.
Here is the line I use:
JASS:

//! i makechange(current,"aub1",1,"Spell testing")

The spell is based of channel and the "aub1" correct checked 4 times.
So why is it not adding the "Spell testing" as extended tooltip to my ability? (the extended tooltip becomes pink (like it would when it's edited) and the field is empty)

Thanks alot!

The object generation script is just for generating unique id's right? Well I'm using this for my own so I can safely choose my own id's so stuff probably won't mess up and if it will I'll just recreate the thing that is gone:p.
Also how do you mean I should use lua functions instead? Could you give me an example?

I know how to use lua but why and how would I use lua functions for object generation?

rather than putting your code into macros, you can put it into Lua functions. Easier to use, easier to read, and has scope ; ).

With LUA_FILE_HEADER, you can even write Lua files and use dofile. You can also write auto included JASS files.
