Settlers 2 Colors Problem

Hello.
I am playing a really old game from 1998, Settlers II. The game runs smooth, but the problem is that the colors are inverted, or whatever you are supposed to call it. It's really annoying, and makes the game unplayable.

I have tried running it in compability mode, but it didn't work. There is like no support for this game, since it is so bloody old. Any help would be greatly appricated.

I did a little loop-up and found a program called dosbox, which is meant for running games in DOS.

Maybe give it a try.

On a side note, this game is absolutely fabulous!

I have it somewhere on my computer, running properly.

Yeah, the thing is I found this program some hours after posting this thread, so the problem is solved and the game is running smooth!

And yes indeed, the best strategic game ever
