Show a timer window to only one player

Ok, to my title is pretty explicit, but i'll still explain a little.

I'm doing a maze (maybe some people who play maze know me).
It's my first map but I think i'm getting pretty good.
The only problem is i have RoC (i'm suppose to buy tft in my next day off) but its not sure and i'm continuing to work on RoC.

In my second level, there is a region who activate a countdown timer. YOu have time to get to a point, before you die.
So i create as timer window. there it's ok. I put the timer in it and show the window.
But i would want to show it only to the owner of the triggering unit.
I know how to select it : (Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))].
But i don't know how to applicate on the timer window. Actually, it only show the time to the player select, but other players still can see the window.

Tank you for your futur help.

Oh, by the way, sorry for my english, i'm not completly billingual and my first language is french.

no need to look around i think u missed this trigger

Code:
timer
    Events
Time - Elapsed game time is 5.00 seconds
    Conditions
    Actions
Countdown Timer - Start timer as a One-shot timer that will expire in 30.00 seconds
Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for (Last started timer) with title *Your Title*
Countdown Timer - Hide (Last created timer window) for Player 1 (Red)

u need to do it each player but it works so gl with ur map :D

You need:
Timer ( Variable - Timer - Array 12 )
Timer_Window ( Variable - TimerWindow - Array 12 )

Well then use this
Countdown Timer - Create a Timer Window for Timer with describtion....
Set Timer_Window[PlayerNumber]= Last Created Timer Window
Countdown Timer - Start Timer[PlayerNumber] as a One-shot timer that will expire in xx.xx seconds
Countdown Timer - Hide Timer
Countdown Timer - Show Timer for Player[PlayerNumberOfPlayerThatShouldSeeTheTimer] :p

no need to look around i think u missed this trigger

Code:
timer

You don't need it do to for every player o_O ;)

Edit: Ups, sorry for double posting I forgot that I already posted - Mozilla Tabs xD

Wow that was fast.

But the problem is i dont see the 'for player" in my trigger. Here is what I got.

CountDown Timer - Show SaveFromDeath[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))]

and that's it. There is no "for player"

    Conditions
    Actions
Countdown Timer - Start timer as a One-shot timer that will expire in 30.00 seconds
Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for (Last started timer) with title *Your Title*
Countdown Timer - Hide (Last created timer window)
Countdown Timer - Show (Last created timer window) for (Owner of (Entering unit))

looks better for me entering unit was the unit that entered the region

Ok here is my trigger which works 100%ly:

You need:
Timer ( Variable - Timer - Array 12 )
Timer_Window ( Variable - TimerWindow - Array 12 )
Timer_Begone ( Variable - Boolean - Array 12 )

Well then use this

Event: A unit enters *yourrect*
Condition: Timer_Begone[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] equal to false
Actions:
Set Timer_Begone[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))]=True
Countdown Timer - Create a Timer Window for Timer with describtion....
Set Timer_Window[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))]= Last Created Timer Window
Countdown Timer - Start Timer[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] as a One-shot timer that will expire in xx.xx seconds
Countdown Timer - Hide Timer
Countdown Timer - Show Timer for Player[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))]

This will make sure this timer will only be triggered once by entering it for player also only shows timer to the owner of the unit ;) :p

Ok ty. i'm still searching, but i always find the "for player" whent the question is answered so it don't help me.

And i have both variable already.

This is my trigger (sry some part are in french cause i have french version (not mine lol. Going to buy english one in same time of tft)

Code:
Events
    Unit - A unit enters Display Text 3 <gen>

Condition
Events(Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) equal to Demon Hunter
SaveFromDeathBool[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] equal to FALSE
Actions
Set Player = (Owner of (Triggering unit))
Game - Display to (Player group((Owner of (Triggering unit)))) the text: |CFFFFFC00 Too bad...
Countdown Timer - Start DeathCount1[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] as a Un coup timer that will expire in 45.50 seconds
Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for DeathCount1[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] with title ((Name of (Owner of (Triggering unit))) + is dead in)
Set SaveFromDeath[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] = (Last created timer window)
Countdown Timer - Show SaveFromDeath[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))]
Set SaveFromDeathBool[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] = TRUE
    Wait 45.00 seconds
Countdown Timer - Destroy SaveFromDeath[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))]
If (SaveFromDeathBool[(Player number of (Owner of (Triggering unit)))] equal to TRUE) then do (Unit - Explode (Triggering unit)) else do (Do nothing)

I tried to traduct most of it.

I read both of your triggers, but there is still the "for player" i can't find. And if i look at my trigger, its pretty much the same you did undead lol.
So i'm only missing the "for player" and i dont get it...

Your not getting what i'm saying.

I dont have "for player blabla bla" in my action list. Only Show timer.
not Show timer for player.

Maybe its only in tft?
I dont know, but i don't have it and i can't do what you're saying since the beginning.

  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air
