Simple explosion question

I am trying to make a guy who lays a ward that is sort of like a mine, but will wait 5 seconds after being laid, then explode, dealing AoE damage, with the explosion special effects and all that stuff. I have figured out how to give it AoE damage, but I can't figure out the explosion effects. All I get are the same stupid ward noise and no effect at all. I have scoured the Art- target/effect/caster categories, but have found nothing that would lead seem to me to be an explosion let alone the explosion sound. Help please?

Under the 'spawned effects' catagory, when choosing the effect model, there are some rather large (and noisy!) explosion effects.

They are used for buildings and such, so they sound just like what you need.

I used them for a Grenage, and for a missile.

thanks, but what category do I set them to Art- caster? target? other?

Supposedly, you have not yet used the Trigger Module of the World Editor yet?

I suggest you learn how to do so soon. Either by reading FAQ Site or experimenting.
