I am talking about the Original Sims, I think we owned most of the expansion packs, too bad the CD's don't work for some reason or I would still be going around killing my Sims...

I majorly remember it now going through my old CDs; of course your Sim would hate working so you would use the Rosebud cheat to get them rich beyond imagine or you would just have the marry people and kill them... W/e you did, it was a fun game play.

Living Large and House Party Expansions were the best, mainly because you got more neighborhoods, and you could throw wild parties. Then when you got bored trap people in your house and create zombies and other monsters to kill them...

So hopefully I was the only one to play this classic... I have the Gamecube Sim's 2 my friend gave me for no reason. I don't like it's like impossible to get rich, there is no cheat codes and you can't murder your person for good...

I put tables around the house and burn the house down with a fireplace.

Ahh, The good times. I remember I had all the expansion packs. Bought each one separately as they came out. No "All-in-1" thing.
I think it's better than Sims 2. :)

Also,
Indoor Fireworks where fun :D

I was sick with a 102 temperature and I locked all my sims in a little room in the back except for a couple and somehow they broke out and a bunch died. I stayed up all night sick torturing my sims. Good times

Start a fire, and then delete the door! Haha, fun times. Sims 1 is three times better than the Sims 2. :)

I finally got Sims 2 (for the PC)... Killing people is still fun. But of course once I get Sims 2. Sims 3 is right around the corner.

I would have kept playing Sims 1 but for some reason not one of my disk or any of my expansions work. So my friend gave me Sims 2. So that's what I am stuck with xD

Same :D

You can't lock up the clown though. (He summons some black hole and appears in the other room, or outside. So he is the hardest to kill...

BTW I always used the rosebud cheat code (so you can type as much money as you want for your Sim to have).

The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
