Skin for my 3d milkshape model

When i use a custom skin for my model it disapears!!! i cant make a custom skin..... but when i use a skin from the MPQ fil it doesn't disapears..... it is my custom skin!!:mad: :mad: :mad:
 
are you keeping the skin in tga format? i think destroying the alpha channels (or whatever they are called) will result in your skin being invisible or transparent in the game. 32-bit tga is the ideal format.
